What to do?

With 24 hours and 3 weeks... How do you (meaning us) occupy 5 kids?

DUH...

Have a Tea (chocolate milk) Party!! With Mimi's bluewillow china! :) SAH-WEEE-THA

YUMMY... Delish...

Ashley leaves... but the Kiddos stay

The day Ashley left her kiddos behind was bitter sweet... We had the kiddos wear the burger king crowns... but they wouldn't keep them on. Nor does Alyvia look thrilled.

Then that evening we had a great visit. Our cousin, Chelse, and her family was passing through (from Rexburg, Idaho) on their way to move to Florida. Her husband, Brady, is getting his Master in Music at Florida State. We ate at Lambert's. (YUMMY) and just talked a bunch! It was SO much fun to catch up!

Their baby, Logan and our baby Alyvia.
He is 2 months younger than Alyvia.

Got to LOVE the coke... ;)

Alyvia's first Lake experience

Ashley and her kids came in to town for the weekend... Well, Ashley was here and left but the chitlyn's stayed!! YAY!! We get time to play with the nieces and the cousins all get to play together!!

We decided to all go to lake.

Kinz LOVES the captains chair!! :)

PS... I am so not a fan of 2 piece swim suits! Modesty was how I was raised and, to me, 2 pieces are modest. But when you go on the lake and a baby has to wear a full body suit life jacket... I LOVED the 2 piece. It made it so much easier to change her diaper while keeping the life jacket on. :)

Alyvia LOVES LOVES LOVES the water! (Just a bit scary, but a good thing too) ;)

Getting all ready to LAKE IT UP!

Josh has been borrowing a boat to see if he'd like to buy it. When we got it, it was filthy!! So we had to CLEAN it!!

There was SO much to clean!!! Josh power washed it, while we did the nitty gritty. And of course Alyvia helped out!

Talk about OLD!!

My sweet little nephew Seiler has graduated from Kindergarten. I just can't believe it!

He is even in the Kindergarten bell choir.

Here's Alyvia at Seiler's graduation. Later that afternoon was Ryann's graduation.

My niece Ryann just graduated 4th grade and will be going on to middle school.

This is the Principle's last year at McBride. Sad Day!! He has really gotten to know Ryann. (Ryann had a crush on him when she was in Kindergarten and First grade.)

Kinzley after the graduations picking beautiful weeds. :)

Bath towel baby...

I love this little girl! She is all bundled up in her cozy towel. She is just so freakin' cute!

*pics taken 22 May 2010

She is so snuggly... Right after bath she is so tired and ready for bed, this is my favorite time.
She just wants to be held and loved.

This wonderful towel was actually given to us from our friend in Rexburg, Lynn Clarke. Yup, we still use it!

Last day...

Ok... so we did more through out the week... but those pictures are on my hard drive that currently is trying to be restored. :( This was mine and Alyvia's last day in Arizona.

Can you believe this is the only picture we got of the four us the whole 10 days we were there. But I think it turned out so cute!! We miss you guys!

The Gila Valley Temple Open House

Some times... Alyvia gets tired of waiting on me... ;) We were getting ready to go to a temple house.

3 hour drive of pretty much this being our view. it was still nice to look at. ;)

We went to the Gila Valley Temple open house. It was Alyvia and Race's first time to go into the temple. It was so pretty!!! But it was so strange because there was NO building around... just desert. It looks A LOT and very similar to the Rexburg and Twin Falls temples. So worth the drive!! And I got quality time with Lisa and baby Race. :) We talked about everything, it was like old times of being just great friends. I really miss just having a good friend I call go to anytime I need to talk or just have fun! (I miss you Lisa!)
This is our drive home... Can I tell you these two babies did amazingly well on this drive!! No crying, just very content babies... LOVED it!!

This is where we stopped to est dinner... well we packed our dinners, so we ate those and bought very delicious ice cream! It was a great trip!

AZ trip continued

Alyvia had so much fun going through all the luggage while I got ready in the morning. We stayed with a former roommate of Lisa's. Alyvia loved looking out the glass door and seeing the backyard. She was crawling EVERY where!! And She learned to eat solids while we were in Arizona... She realized her two tiny teeth can break a cracker and she laughed every time she did it. So sweet.

Wait until you see these... OLD SCHOOL! but you will know the brand name. ;)

Could you imagine?!? I am glad I don't have to use those!!
Alyvia had so much fun with little Race! She just kept giving him kisses and wanted to be involved when Lisa changed him. He was so tiny... I kinda missed Alyvia at that stage; when you could just leave them and they couldn't go anywhere. ;)

But this Tide box filled with newspapers was her favorite toy at the Hargraves. She would empty it and and play for a long time. Love her!
