Dec 8-13
We visited Utah during this week and had SO much fun! We saw so much family, friends, and the Temple Sqaure lights; it really was a great early Christmas for us. Alyvia got to see so many cousins and Aunts and Uncles. We saw Aunt Ashley and Uncle Jeremy and their wonder kiddos Micah, Sloane, and Emie! Alyvia even got to see her Uncle Jordan (Kristofer's brother). The main reason to go to Utah was because my mom wanted to have a picture of her and all the grandkinds. The session went kinda ok. It is hard to get ALL 7 kids smiling and looking at the camera!!
Here is a glimps of how the session went. ;)
This last one is the one My mom used for her Christmas cards.
Here is our whole trip in a gallery of pictures. Enjoy!
Merry Christmas!
Quick updates...
Ryann's piano recital
We all went to Ry's piano recital, October 30th. It was so much fun to see her preform!
Ryann and all the students her teacher teaches.
Alyvia... wasn't excited until the music started! She loves, loves music.
Mimi and Ry after she preformed.
Papa and Kinzley
Ryann at the Grand piano in the lobby.
All she has to do is look at daddy and she laughs!
We sure do love this daddy!!
Daisy Chique Boutique
My little sister made these!!! She has such an amazing talent of fashion and taste. To see more of her awesome genuine leather shoe collection click the picture or her link to her blog on the right!! :)
Trick or Trunking
This day/ evening was way fun!! Trick or trunking was the Wednesday (the 28th) before Halloween. It was fun getting ready. Alyvia was a little frog with a bow and her pacifier was green had little fire flies on it, it was SO cute!! I was kinda disappointed that there weren't as many cars there as there had been in the past.
Danielle and Josh got the reward for best decorated trunk... It was my idea to decorate it to look like a pumpkin patch with scarecrows, oh well.
And that was our fun event of the evening!
Creativity outlet
* Oct 27, 2009
My little sister now has a very beautiful craft room. I needed to send out some thank you cards so I went straight to her craft room and this is what was created. I think I might begin making cards instead of buying them. With Danielle's cricut all things are possible!! :)
Jumbo Bumbo
This is my chubby little bumbo girl.
*pics taken Oct 27, 2009
Alyvia has always had a VERY strong head and held it up. Lately, all she wants to is sit up, but can't sit up on her own, obviously, and she doesn't really like laying on her back nor on her tummy. So we decided to put her in the bumbo. She LOVES it. She seriously has sat in the bumbo for a whole movie!! :)
Witch hat... decoration or perfect fit?
FHE Oct 26, 2009. This witches hat is my sister's decoration. :) Danielle thought it would be funny to see if it fit Alyvia. Well, it did. She definitely would be the whitest witch EVER. :)
Danielle UPDATED!! ;)
You'll never guess... but my little sister updated her blog. Sure do love her!! :)
Daddy/ daughter time
Sunday Oct 25th. We went over to Danielle's for lunch and while Danielle and I were cooking Kristofer played with little Miss Alyvia. They are such too cute!! HE is such an amazing dad! :)
Time Out For Women
Day 1
Danielle and her baby. Then Danielle had a circle of mommy friends. :) It was so amazing! The kids did great!
We went to Time Out For Women Oct 23-24. We had to travel 4 hours to Kansas City. It was a fun trip up. This is the kids in the Hotel. By the way, it wasn't a true time out because we had the chitlens with us.
Before the evening part of TOFW we walked around down town. It was a bit cold, by a bit I mean really chilly. It was such a BEAUTIFUL city and SO many AMAZING places to take pictures. I could so move up there!
In the same Convention Center Oprah was there. Well, she wasn't there until
Saturday. There was SO much security. They wouldn't even let me take the
elevator with the baby, I had to take the escalator. Seriously!
But there were signs like this one EVERYwhere.
Day 2
Jenny Oaks Baker, Kenneth Cope and so many others were SO AWESOME!!
I just love these things!
(This year I did not like the bags they gave away)
After TOFW we went around the rest of Kansas City. Their outside mall and the weather was perfect and again the colors were so vibrant and so many great places for photography.
What a great weekend! Next year I want to go to TOFW in DALLAS!!
